WHO MAY USE INTERLIBRARY LOAN LENDING SERVICES

University of Cantabria Library accepts ILLs from other institutions. Individuals in search of materials should use interlibrary loan services through their local library.

FEES

Charges: Through reciprocal and resource sharing agreements, there is no charge for copies requested.

We accept the following payment methods: IFLA vouchers and IFM (e.g. through WorldShare ILL)

European libraries

Document delivery: 1 HALF IFLA VOUCHER

Interlibrary loan: 2 IFLA VOUCHERS

Rest of the world

Document delivery: 1 HALF IFLA VOUCHER
Interlibrary loan: 4 IFLA VOUCHERS

SUBMITTING A REQUEST

Requests may be submitted either using the form, email, or through OCLC (symbol CAJ)
First, please consult our catalog.

Please include full mailing address and contact information in the requests.

Borrowers are responsible for all materials until the ILL record is updated to checked-in.

LOAN PERIOD AND SHIPPING

The loan period is 4 weeks after receipt.

The loaned materials will be shipped by registered post. Please return them in the same condition as received, and use the same or equivalent packaging materials and shipping methods.

Interlibrary loans can be renewed at pi@unican.es . Please include the interlibrary loan request details.

NON CIRCULATING MATERIALS

University Library does not loan periodicals (we provide photocopies of journal articles), high-use materials, tests.

Theses-Dissertations can be loaned with author’s permission.
