Students have shown to have and understood knowledge in an area of study based on general secondary education, and often themselves at a level which, although supported by advanced textbooks, also includes some aspects that involve knowledge from the forefront of their field of study.
Students know how to apply their knowledge to their work or vocation in a professional manner and have the abilities that tend to be demonstrated through the development and defense of arguments and the resolution of problems within their field of study

Manage and plan work in an autonomous and self-regulated manner, and aspects related to initiative and motivation, planning and organization (establishing objectives and priorities, sequencing and time, etc.) as well as correct time management

Master the Spanish language in an instrumental advanced manner in its written and oral dimension, as well as the communication skills in the areas of work business and institutional.
Master a second and third modern language in an instrumental way.
Know classical languages and have information about their cultures.
Learn about the biological fundamentals of language and communication processes.
Recognize the diversity and equality of languages, as well as the geolinguistic value of the Spanish language, which will enable the student to carry out political and social actions aimed at promoting these languages.
Know and know how to analyze different levels of language, which means knowledge of Spanish grammar and techniques and methods of analysis.
Know about aspects of the teaching of Spanish, referring to the theory and methodology of Spanish as a first language and second or foreign language
Know about the history of Spanish, in terms of its internal and external historical evolution, its techniques and methods of linguistic analysis.
Understand the principles and techniques to develop linguistic mediation activities from a business, cross-cultural and Interprofessional viewpoint
Know the social, geographical, socio-linguistic and stylistic dimensions of the Spanish language.
Know the geographical, historical, artistic and philosophical dimensions of communities which use the Spanish as a language of social communication.
Know about the relationship between language, society, culture and ideology, as well as models and techniques of linguistic language policies and planning.
Know Spanish and Hispano-American literature, theoretical and methodological trends of literary theory and criticism, as well as the theory and criticism of the arts in general, and the relationship between literature and other artistic disciplines.
Interrelate the theoretical, technical-methodological and practical components of the different disciplines related to the proposed grade.
Relate linguistic knowledge to other non-linguistic disciplines (didactics, history, geography, philosophy, cinema).
Receive, understand and express scientific and technical knowledge, an object of teaching in the degree.
Teach Spanish Language and Linguistics in various professional fields, as well as the elaboration of language teaching methods
Manage and control the editorial quality in order to carry out assessment tasks and linguistic correction in the field of social and business communication, and in other areas.
Critically evaluate the consulted bibliography in order to set it out in a theoretical perspective.
Identify problems and research topics and assess their importance.
