Basic competences
Students have shown to have and understand knowledge in an area of study based on general secondary education, and often find themselves at a level which, although supported by advanced textbooks, also includes some aspects that involve knowledge from the forefront of their field of study.
Students know how to apply their knowledge to their work or vocation in a professional manner and have the abilities that tend to be demonstrated through the development and defense of arguments and the resolution of problems within their field of study
Students have the ability to gather and interpret relevant data (normally within their field of study) to make judgements that include reflection on issues of a social, scientific or ethical nature

General competences
(Organize-Plan). Organization and planning skills. This consists of acquiring skills to observe, assess and consider proposals for establishing organization patterns and planning future actions in accordance with pre-established criteria.
(Solve) Ability in problem-solving. As such, this means the identification, analysis and definition of significant elements which constitute a problem or an aspect to improve in solving it effectively and with good judgement.
(Communicate) Oral and written communication. This consists in the ability to effectively convey to the desired audience. The student will be able to develop and write reports, in addition to acquiring qualities to achieve a correct oral presentation.
(Using ICT) Ability to use information and communication technologies in the performance of professionals. Sudents must acquire the skills to manage hardware and software that is required as a means to carry out and complete the tasks required in each subject and in their daily working life.
(Negotiate) Treatment of conflict and negotiation. An aptitude that consists of predicting, treating and solving conflicts that occur in the workplace, as well as the use of appropriate techniques to intervene and have an impact on decisions to be taken when dealing with individuals and groups.
(Cooperate) Ability to work in a team. The student must know how to integrate and collaborate actively in the achievement of common goals with others further beyond the achievements of individual character, thinking globally for the sake of the organization to which they belong.
(Motivate Excellence) Motivation for quality. Ability to develop inherent work and tasks to thought, aimed at doing things with maximum quality and minimizing errors, with the conviction of the great advantages that this produces for the organizations.
(Internationalize) Work in an international and multicultural context. This competence consists in knowing how to understand and adapt to the social and business culture of different countries, of great interest for tourism and hotel management.
