General competences
Capacity for organising, planning and managing information. Students will be able to determine effectively the aims, priorities, methods and controls to carry out tasks by organising activities with the time and means at their disposal, and will know how to structure, collect, process and obtain results from given information.
Capacity of students for planning and managing time. Efficient definition of the aims, priorities, methods and controls to carry out tasks by organising activities with the time and means at their disposal. Weighting the distribution of time in terms of priorities, taking into account both personal objectives in the short, medium and long term and the personal and professional areas they wish to develop.
Capacity for abstraction, analysis, synthesis and problem solving. Students will use concepts to identify, describe and define complex realities and know how to distinguish parts from a whole until they discover their significant principles and establish relationships with elements external to the situation in question in order to propose a solution in an effective manner.
Capacity for autonomous learning and creative reasoning. Students will be prepared, on the one hand, to carry out an appropriate and selective search for new sources of knowledge and, on the other, to understand and incorporate the resulting new knowledge in a systematic way. They will also know how to systematically develop original approaches in performing academic and professional tasks and projects.
Teamwork in the current situation with a capacity for adaptation and decision-making. Students will integrate and collaborate actively with other persons, areas and organisations in the pursuit of common goals, assuming responsibility for the scope of the consequences of the chosen option. To this end, they will show a critical attitude of mind to promote interpersonal links, to discover and strengthen their capacity for leadership in keeping with a balanced distribution of tasks, and cohesion within the group.
Use of new technologies (ICTs). Students will use ICTs as a tool to access sources of information, as a means of managing information, and for tasks involving the presentation of results.
Adaptation to the environment. Students will be aware of the technical resources available in order to make use of them within their personal and professional abilities to achieve an optimum performance of the tasks to be carried out.
Orientation for quality. Students will design and apply processes aimed at achieving better results in all their activities.
