Have and understand knowledge that can provide a base or opportunity to be original in the development and/or application of ideas, often in a research context
Students should know to apply their acquired knowledge and their ability in problem-solving in new or little-known environments within broader (or multidisciplinary) contexts related to their field of study

Students should be capable of putting into practice their knowledge of applied linguistics to the teaching/learning process of a second language within a teaching environment
Students should be to apply their acquired knowledge of didactics and teaching methodology of a second language within educational environments.
Students should be able to apply their acquired knowledge of learning and bilingual education in CLIL environments (integrated learning of content and foreign languages).
Students should be able to gain practical experience in planning, teaching and evaluation in the teaching/learning processes of a second language in a specific teaching environment (Official Language School and bilingual schools in Cantabria).
Students should be capable of understanding, designing and putting into practice a substantial research process with academic rigor

Students should develop an ethical commitment and promote human rights, the principles of Justice and gender equality, equal opportunities and non-discrimination, as well as their own values of a civic culture concerned with a deepening in democracy, solidarity, social inclusion, interculturality, a peaceful resolution of conflicts, cooperation and global sustainable development, both in public spaces and in their professional future.
Students will enrich their abilities in oral and written communication in English.
Students perfect their digital competence and in general their abilities to look for, obtain, select, treat, analyse and communicate different information, as well as transforming it into knowledge and offering it to others to consider
