Language requirements

Spanish version

All students must have a good knowledge of the language in which the subjects are taught in order to be able to follow the lessons properly (level B1 recommended). As a general rule, it is not required to send a language level certificate as part of the exchange application package.

However, there may be exceptions and students DO have to send a certificate of their level:

1) Courses in English: the English certificate should only be sent when it appears next to the subject *B1/B2/C1 English certificate required https://web.unican.es/en/Studying/academic-offer/courses-taught-in-english

2) Courses in Spanish: all subjects of the MBA University Master in Business Administration require a B2 certificate in Spanish. https://web.unican.es/estudios/detalle-estudio?p=46

3) At the request of the ORI, after review of the learning agreement by the UC academic coordinator in order to guarantee a satisfactory academic outcome for the exchange student.
