Vincenzo obtained his first degree in "Chimica e tecnologie farmaceutiche" (Pharmacy) at the University of Palermo in 2014. During his degree, Vincenzo participated to the Erasmus Program Scholarships at the University of Lisbon, where he trained at the Pharmaceutical Chemistry department on his final work degree.

In 2014, he moved to Spain where in 2015 received the Molecular Biology and Biomedicine Master degree from the University of Cantabria.

During the Master he started a training period at the Piero's Lab. In 2016 Vincenzo was admitted in the PhD program of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology of the University of Cantabria, under the supervision of Piero Crespo and Berta Casar. Since then, he has been working on his thesis project on the regulation of ERK dimerization and Spatial regulation of Ras-ERK signals in cancer Group, funded by FPI program.

    • Development of antitumoral drugs targeting protein-protein interactions in the Ras-ERK pathway
