The mission of EuroCC 3 is to further strengthen the distributed network of National Competence Centres (NCCs) for High-Performance Computing (HPC), supporting their development and service provision across all participating countries. Building on the achievements of previous phases, EuroCC 3 focuses on consolidating and continuously improving the network?s activities while broadening the uptake of HPC across Europe. In parallel, three new NCCs will be established, extending the network?s coverage and fostering capacity building in new regions.
The project unites 36 NCCs, each mandated by its national authority to serve as a one-stop shop for HPC-related expertise, services, and training. With a strong focus on SMEs and industry, the NCCs will support the adoption of HPC through tailored consulting, skills development, and facilitation of access to national and European resources.
Working in close collaboration with the coordination and support action to be funded under DIGITAL-JU-EUROHPC-2025-NCC-01-02, EuroCC 3 will ensure coherent network coordination, knowledge exchange, and a unified external presence through the HPC in Europe portal and HPC Service Hub. By advancing digital skills, supporting innovation, and strengthening competitiveness, EuroCC 3 directly contributes to the EuroHPC Joint
Undertaking?s ?Widening Usage and Skills? pillar and to Europe?s broader digital transformation.
