Abstract: Cutis laxa is a rare connective tissue disorder characterized by progressive loosening of the skin, associated with abnormalities of other organs such as the lung. We present a case of this disease with pulmonary emphysema and acute respiratory failure successfully treated with high-flow nasal cannula.
