Abstract: We measure the image Mueller matrix (MM) of human cancerous cells. We apply three different decomposition and transforming methods (Polar decomposition, Mueller matrix transformation and differential decomposition) over these matrices in order to look for an adequate polarimetricparameter that allow us to characterize and differentiate these tumor cells. Due to the intrinsic difficulty of applying polarimetry to these kind of samples we set out two proposalsin order to enhance the sensitivity of the polarimetric parameters
