​​​​​​About the "Researchers" information​

I would like to complete the information included in the "Other activities" section. How can I do this?

Only the information related to "Other activities" is included since 2010, related to any of the following activities:​

  • President or Area Coordinator of the Coordination and Evaluation Branch of the AEI (now ANEP) or its equivalent.
  • Area Collaborator of the Coordination and Evaluation Branch of the AEI (now ANEP) or equivalent.
  • Chairman or equivalent of the International Research Committe
  • Member of the Advisory Committee of the National Commission for the Evaluation of Research Activity - CNEAI
  • Member of the National Accreditation Committee - ANECA
  • Editor-in-Chief of a journal
  • Member of the editorial committee or guest editor of special issues of journals.
  • Editor-in-Chief of book publishing house
  • Member of the editorial committee of collections/series of books

About the "Research Groups" information

I would like to complete or correct the information of the research group of which I am the coordinator. How should I do it?​

If you wish to add or modify information about your research group such as group website, description, research lines, etc. you must access your Virtual Campus, section "Research" and "Research Groups" subsection. Once the modification has been made in your Virtual Campus, the information will appear in the Researcher's Portal in the next update.         

Only the group coordinator can modify the group information.         

It is not possible to modify information about research group members through the Virtual Campus. If you wish to modify the personnel of a group you should send an e-mail to otri@unican.es and we will contact you.         

It is also not possible to modify through the Virtual Campus the information that appears on projects, publications and theses since the information shown in the Portal comes from the Institutional Databases. If you wish to modify any information, please contact otri@unican.es.​

 

 

About "Publications" information

I would like to complete my scientific production, how can I do it?

Only scientific production since 2010 is included. If you wish to include any publication after 2010, please send an e-mail with the postprint of the publication to produccioncientifica@unican.es

 

 

About the "Projects" information

I am a team member in a research project and I do not appear in the project.Is this correct?

Yes, only the research team is shown, not the work team.   

I am involved in a project providing technical services, repetitive testing, spot testing, etc., but I do not appear in the Researcher's Portal. Is this correct?

Yes, service delivery projects or repetitive variable billing trials are not shown in the Researcher Portal.   

I would like to include a project in which I participate and it is managed by another university. How can I do this?

In the case of projects managed by other Universities or OPI'S, only research projects of national and European public calls in which UC researchers participate and whose start date is equal to or later than the year 2010 are included.

The figures for the total number of projects do not match those shown in the link "R&D&I in figures".

The difference may be due to different reasons: 

The Researcher's Portal shows projects not accounted for in the aforementioned link, such as competitive projects in which UC researchers participate but are managed by other Universities, PROs or Research Centers: CSIC, IDIVAL, etc. 

The Researcher's Portal does not include repetitive technical services. The Portal groups possible extensions or addenda to the original project.​

 

 

About the "Thesis" information

I have co-directed a thesis at another university and would like it to appear on the Researcher Portal. How can I do this?

To include a thesis directed/co-directed in other Spanish Public Universities, Universities of recognized international prestige and OPI's, please contact the Academic Management Service: (gestion.academica@unican.es). The mail should include a certificate issued by the University where the thesis was developed and should include, at least, the following information:     

  • University where the thesis was defended.
  • Title and author of the thesis.
  • Number and affiliation (surname, first name and ID number) of the thesis directors.
  • Date of thesis defense.
  • European/International Doctorate (YES/NO) and date of award, if applicable.
  • Extraordinary Award (YES/NO) and date of award, if applicable.​
