Abstract: The development, main contributions and ideas arising at the "Seminario Destreza, didáctica y descubrimiento con GeoGebra", that took place at the Center for Mathematical Meetings, CIEM, of Castro-Urdiales, Cantabria, Spain, on December 22-24, 2019, are commented in this summary. The meeting was sponsored by the Federación Española de Sociedades de Profesores de Matemáticas (FESPM) and the Instituto GeoGebra de Cantabria (IGC). Three aspects of the use of GeoGebra in Spanish schools were addressed at the seminar: the skills involved in the design andd creation of GeoGebra constructions, the didactical considerations involved in the use of GeoGebra in the classroom, and the ways in which students develop mathematical competencies when using the program. Issues relatied to Evaulation were specially considered.
