Iberia01: Daily gridded (0.1º resolution) dataset of precipitation and temperatures over the Iberian Peninsula

Abstract: The present work introduces a new observational gridded dataset produced using a dense network (thousands) of stations over the Iberian Peninsula (referred to as Iberia01), providing daily precipitation and temperatures for the period 1971-2015 at 0.1º (~10km) resolution.

Iberia01 is based on a dense network of 3847 precipitation stations and over 380 temperature stations from the Spanish Agency of Meteorology (AEMET), the Portuguese Institute for Sea and Atmosphere (IPMA) and the Portuguese Environmental Agency (APA).
