Soy Profesora Contratada Doctora del Departamento de Anatomía y Biología Celular desde 2016 y miembro del grupo Fibroheart de la IP Dra. Villar.

Nuestro laboratorio se especializa en la búsqueda de estrategias moleculares contra la fibrosis cardiaca, aunque nuestra experiencia en este campo nos ha permitido investigar/colaborar en otras líneas como la fibrosis pulmonar inducida por COVID-19 o en esclerodermia.

Mis antecedentes como bióloga celular y mi aprendizaje posterior han hecho que me especialice en técnicas de imagen, particularmente microscopía electrónica, de rayos X y super-resolución, lo que me ha abierto las puertas a la microscopía correlativa en condiciones nativas (crio-electrónica y crio-microscopía de rayos X).
