Aurora Martín González graduated in Biotechnology degree from CEU San Pablo University. During her degree, she studied for one year abroad by an Erasmus Program in Cardiff University (Wales) and, afterwards, she did an Internship in the laboratory of Dr. Ramón Merino in the IBBTEC, in the field of immunology analyzing the role of BAMBI protein in adipose tissue. Later on, she did a Master's degree in Biomedicine and Molecular Biology in the Basque Country University, while she worked simultaneously in the department of Protein design and engineering, with Dr. Gabriel Moncalián (IBBTEC). Subsequently, she got a summer fellowship and then a JAE Intro grant to work for a few months in the department of Structural biology of macromolecular complexes with Dra. María Lucas, with whom she is currently carrying out a PhD thesis.
