The University of Cantabria organises a welcome programme before classes start in order to provide the student with a first contact with the university, the city of Santander and the Spanish culture in general. The programme consists of an orientation session, a guided Tour of the University and leisure and cultural activities in order to facilitate the student's social integration.
The ORI strongly recommends the student to take part in this programme.

9.45: Meeting point at the Hall of the Faculty of Law. Group photo.
- 10.00 a.m. Welcome words, presentation and mentors introduction.
- 11.00: Guided Tour of the University: visit to the Library, Language Centre, Clasrooms, Sports Building and other services like Cafees.
- 12.10 - 19.00 approx: Visit* to Picos de Europa.
A picnic bag is included for the trip.

We reserve the right to modify the place and date of excursions depending on the weather condition, in which case registration fees will not be reimbursed.

Important note: students will be required to show their ID card or passport in order to get in the bus. Students who do not show any kind of identification document may be rejected.
