The University of Cantabria (UC) has passed the midterm evaluation of the implementation process of the "Human Resources Excellence in Research" (HRS4R) Seal of Excellence. Since obtaining the HR Excellence in Research Seal in June 2020, the UC has been working on the development and implementation of the 19 actions defined in the initial Action Plan. Now, two years later, and after the evaluation of the midterm report sent on July 7th, the European Commission considers that the UC is working in the right direction.

From now on, the UC has 36 months to implement the new actions scheduled in the updated Action Plan. In October 2025, the UC will be evaluated again by the European Commission, which will decide on the renewal of the HR Excellence in Research Seal.

This very positive evaluation by the European Commission has been made possible thanks to the involvement of all members of the UC. It also represents a great stimulus to continue moving forward together in the challenge of fully implementing the Human Resources Strategy for Researchers at the University of Cantabria.
