Created in 2007, IBBTEC is an expanding research center that currently has more than 100 people among researchers, technicians and management staff. Its scientific activity is structured in 13 senior research groups and 4 junior groups, which includes, among others, professionals in the areas of biology, medicine, pharmacy and chemistry. This composition confers a multidisciplinary character to the Institute and, in addition to our cutting-edge facilities, allow us to face complex scientific challenges. On the other hand, our staff has a deep teaching experience in various graduate and master programs offered by UC, as well as in young scientists training through its doctoral programs. IBBTEC offers each year stays and scientific activities, in addition to the pre and post doctoral programs.
